‘Hayholder’, Korea’s first my data-based shareholder-centered activism platform, will be reborn starting October 4, 2023.
As ‘Hayholder’ has been renewed, the newly added or enhanced features are as follows.
1. Convenience function for shareholders to exercise their shareholder rights
1.1 Electronic delegation function added
There were many cases where only on-site voting was allowed at general shareholders' meetings where important agenda items were submitted, causing many shareholders to miss the opportunity to legitimately exercise their voting rights.
Heyholder Season 2 added an electronic delegation function, allowing shareholders to easily exercise their voting rights. Now, individual shareholders can freely exercise their voting rights on the app, and corporate shareholders (planned) can freely exercise their voting rights on the web.
1.2 ‘Gachiheyo’ function added
‘Gachiheyo’ is Heyholder’s movement (campaign) where shareholders work together to improve shareholder value. Rights that shareholders can exercise through ‘Gachiheyo’ include shareholder proposals, viewing and copying of the shareholder register, shareholder representative lawsuits, viewing and copying of accounting ledgers, convening an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, and requesting dismissal of directors and auditors.
Hey Holder Season 2 signed an MOU with Wion Law Firm for a successful ‘Gachi Heyo’ and will proceed with ‘Gachi Heyo’ with minimal cost burden on each shareholder.
1.3 Issuance of stock ownership certificate replacing balance certificate
Until now, in order to exercise their shareholder rights, shareholders had to go to a securities company and obtain an owner's certificate directly, or obtain a balance certificate through the HTS of each securities company and submit it.
However, you can now easily exercise your shareholder rights through a stock ownership certificate issued by Heyholder.

2. Providing strong information about the target company
Company information provides detailed information about the stocks owned by users or the top 100 stocks with share ratio.
In addition, Hayholder will publish its own trend report on problems in company operation, governance structure, and shareholder solidarity activities, focusing on companies with a high shareholding within Hayholder.
3. Strengthening community functions
Various convenience functions have been added to facilitate communication between shareholders.
3.1 Create a personal profile
Users can now freely upload their profile photos.
Method: Touch your profile picture on the home screen or touch ‘View profile’ in the ‘My Hey’ tab at the bottom.
3.2 Participation, provision of dedicated member badges
A dedicated member badge is given to users who write a lot of posts or comments and receive a lot of ‘likes’, and a ‘participating member’ badge is given to users who participate in ‘Gachiheyo’.
The above badges are displayed next to the nickname when a user writes a post or comment, and you can check the badges you have received so far by clicking ‘View Profile’ in the ‘My Hey’ tab at the bottom.
3.3 Write a vote
If you're curious about what other users think, you can now write a poll to see what other shareholders think.
Method: In the ‘Writing’ tab at the bottom, set the bulletin board to ‘Voting Room’ and then write a post.
3.4 Naver stock discussion room
You can now check the contents of the Naver stock discussion room inside the Heyholder app.
Method: Click the ‘Company Information’ tab, then touch the ‘Naver Jongtobang’ tab.
