About this game

Stroop Sprint is a timed version of the classic Stroop test. A color word appears on screen printed in a different ink color, for example the word RED printed in blue ink. Your job is to tap the color of the ink, not the word it spells. It sounds easy until you are trying to do it fast.

The Stroop effect is one of the most robust findings in cognitive psychology. Reading is so automatic that it competes with and slows down color naming. Stroop Sprint weaponizes that interference and asks you to override it under pressure.

Play three ways. Classic is a 30-second sprint against your own best score. Daily gives you one seeded run a day - every player faces the identical sequence of word/ink pairs, so scores are genuinely comparable. Zen removes the timer and the wrong-answer penalty entirely, for pressure-free practice you can end whenever you like.

PRIVACY AND DATA
Your records stay on your device. This test release does not show ads and does not use analytics or in-app purchases. The Google Mobile Ads, Sentry, and RevenueCat SDKs are bundled and will be activated in a future update; until then, the bundled Google ad component may still access an advertising identifier and basic device information. English and Turkish are fully supported today. More languages are in testing and will roll out in a future update.
