Ratings and reviews

This feels like a spiritual successor to Battle for Bikini Bottom. You're limited strictly to SpongeBob as a playable character, but he's got a bunch of new abilities. So the combat stays feeling fresh enough throughout. The graphics look great and the whole game has a cinematic feel. Controller support is also flawless and worked without any configuration. The developers clearly put a lot of work into making this game feel like a true sequel to an OG classic. I think they succeeded.

Fun gameplay but man sometimes spongebob just does NOT want to move especially on the movie sections. Like I don't know if it's the joystick or the programming, but he will just stick in place and not move or he will slide all over the place. It would be great if you added a skip segment option for parts like that. Because I'm stuck on the karate part for the better part of 2 days now.

Hey I love the game. But I'm here to report a weird behavior caused by this game. When I play this game for just a tiny while, then I go home and clear background processes, apparently my phone still heats up as if it's playing game without a reason. I have a possibile theory, that somehow this game enable "force maximum GPU clocks" for adreno devices that is not disabled after the game closed in such way. The issue is repeatable and causes big battery drain and major heat issue for the phone.

- Fixed a bug where achievements did not synchronize appropriately between online and offline playing sessions
- Fixed the Achievement One Sponge to Rule Them all not unlocking correctly. This might require a reload of the save file for the achievement to trigger!
- Fixed a crash at the unicycle stage when the voice-over was set to Latin-American Spanish
