About this app

AP DSC Prep - offline practice for the Andhra Pradesh DSC teacher recruitment test

Everything is already on your phone. The app has no internet permission at all,
so it works in aeroplane mode, on a bus, and in a village with no signal. There
is no account, no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics.

1,645 PRACTICE QUESTIONS, IN TELUGU AND ENGLISH

Every question is written in both languages, not machine-translated after the
fact. Read the Telugu version and the English original in whichever way suits
you:

- Telugu only, with the English original one tap away
- English only
- Both at once, Telugu above and English directly below
- Both at once, side by side
- One language at a time, flipping between them

The display choice is separate from the app interface language, so you can read
the menus in English while practising in Telugu, or the other way round, and
change either at any time while answering.

COVERAGE

- 1,645 practice questions
- 11 subjects and 104 topics
- 115 bilingual glossary terms, each linked to the questions that use it
- Every answer carries a worked explanation, also in both languages

CHOOSE EXACTLY WHAT TO PRACTISE

The picker lets you build your own set: filter by subject, narrow to a topic,
choose a difficulty, search for a word, then tick the questions you want or
select everything on screen. You can also start from a single question and take
it on its own.

MOCK TESTS

Mock papers follow the structure of the notified DSC examination, with the OMR
sheet on screen and a running clock, so you get used to the pace as well as the
content. Mistake review then collects what you got wrong so you can go back over
those questions.

EXAM INFORMATION

The exam reference section condenses the parts candidates most often have to
look up:

- 6 posts, from Secondary Grade Teacher to Principal and Physical Education
posts, with qualifications, age limits and pay scales
- 5 paper structures with question counts, marks and duration
- Vacancies and reservation rules
- Fees and qualifying rules

DETAILS WORTH KNOWING

- Exam information states the date it was last compiled. Where published
sources disagree, the app shows the versions side by side and does not pick
a winner for you.
- Figures that could not yet be confirmed against an official notification are
marked as unconfirmed rather than presented as settled facts.
- Practice questions are labelled as practice material. They are not
reproductions of past examination papers.
- Your progress stays on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, because the app has
no way to upload anything.

OFFICIAL SOURCES

Exam information in this app is compiled from the published material of the
Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education. These are the sources, and every
exam figure traces back to them:

- AP DSC online application portal
https://apdsc.apcfss.in
- AP TET to DSC portal, where that portal now opens
https://tet2dsc.apcfss.in
- AP Centre for Financial Systems and Services, the state body that runs these
recruitment portals
https://apcfss.in
- Ministry of Education, Government of India
https://www.education.gov.in

APCFSS was set up by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, so its portals are
government portals even though the address does not end in gov.in.

All four links were tested and open. The same links appear inside the app, on
the Exam info, About and Settings screens.

PLEASE NOTE

This app is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or
connected to the Department of School Education, the Government of Andhra
Pradesh, the District Selection Committee (DSC) or any government body, and it
does not represent any of them. Exam patterns, syllabi, vacancy figures and
eligibility rules change, and published sources sometimes disagree. Always
confirm details against the official notification for the cycle you are
applying for.
