Khulafaye Rashedin literally means Righteous, Righteous, Rightly Guided Caliph. The four who ruled the Islamic world after Nabiji, the last messenger of Islam, are called Khulafay Rashedin. They were companions of Hazrat Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam and led Islam after his death. These four are: Abu Bakr, Umar Ibn al-Khattab, Uthman Ibn Affan, Ali Ibn Abu Talib.
