There are certain instances when orders come straight into a facility and need to be delivered to a different end point. This common occurrence in the trucking world is called cross docking. To be able to have a value add for future customers, including one we recently signed, we're adding with feature directly to the K.Motion TMS for Carriers and Brokers. This will allow an order to be created with the address of the company as a beginning or end of pick up point. Also, the addition of bar codes (license plates), which are assigned to the pieces of goods, being added to a trip and an interaction with RF guns to be able to communicate the goods received, where they are in the warehouse, and when they're loaded on to the truck closing out the cross docking activities.
