The High Tech Pet Power Pet Door app controls your WiFi enabled Power Pet Door.

NOTE: THIS APP ONLY WORKS WITH WIFI ENABLED POWER PET DOORS. MAKE SURE YOUR DOOR SAYS "WiFi" ON THE FRONT LABEL BEFORE DOWNLOADING THIS APP.

Full Remote Control:
Control your Power Pet Door from anywhere in the world, as if you were standing right in front of it. You can remotely open it, enable or disable the sensors, and even turn the door off and on.

Timers:
A Unique feature of the WiFi enabled Power Pet Door is the ability to add timers allowing you to choose what time your pet can come and go on any day of the week.

Even standing right next to the door, this app has trouble connecting to it. sometimes I can connect while I'm at work, and sometimes not. This became an urgent issue while I was awaiting a shipment of replacement collar batteries for my dogs, and we had sub-zero temperatures. I was trying to periodically open the doors so that neither of them would be stuck outside in deadly temperatures. As far as I can tell, the weather hasn't caused the door sensors to malfunction, but the app doesn't work.

App is getting worse. Connectivity issues were never uncommon but would eventually resolve after force closing the app a few times. More recently, the app has begun logging me out randomly or appearing as simply a black screen when I open it. This app is necessary for the pet door, therefore I have no choice but to have it. The lack of care for the app after spending so much money on a pet door and devices is ridiculous. It's clear the company only cares about money and not customer experience.

As noted in another review from months ago, if the app is left open in the background and reopened, it doesn't connect to the door. It's been the most frustrating part of the app for us. Otherwise the app is great. I'd love to see a scheduling option for turning the door on/off at sunrise and sunset.
