Cut support for older cameras unexpectedly! I have several HiKam cameras that have IDs consisting of 7 digits. The cameras work fine, but there is no way to use them anymore. The newest version of the app turned off the ability to recognize such cameras, and the older app version is no longer available. I consider it a crime when a company makes the device obsolete by turning off the software for it. I will certainly not buy from HiKam again as the company does not stand by its products.

The app is terrible, in my opinion the camera is good. The app seems to only work when it wants to. They need to fix n update. I have to constantly clear cache, format sd card, fix settings to get it working again. update*Then it completely stopped working! I switched sd card to endurance. It's working again but already seeing same issues. Time will tell if this is a fix. Then I will gladly leave a higher rating. Update.So frustrated this app is broke please fix. such a waste for a good product.

Hikam are continually improving both hardware and software. I have 14 A7's overseeing my stables, a large area. Tried other cameras, systems out. These (A7) are the most user friendly and reliable. I use them mostly to find out what has happened so 24/7 recording which functions 100%. Live view is not as reliable but this is influenced by factors out of Hikams control so understandable. Support is super.
