Hippius is encrypted storage where the encryption happens on your device, before anything is uploaded.
Your files are encrypted on your phone using keys derived from your own account. They travel and rest encrypted across a global network of independent storage nodes, so no single company server ever holds a readable copy. Not even the people running the network can read your data.
STORE AND ORGANISE
Upload photos, videos, documents and any other file. Create folders, rename items, and delete what you no longer need. Search your drive by name. Switch between a list and a grid, in light or dark mode.
PREVIEW WITHOUT DOWNLOADING
Open images and video, plus PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, Markdown, JSON and plain text, directly in the app.
BACK UP YOUR CAMERA ROLL
Choose which albums to include and let Hippius upload new photos and videos for you. Pick exactly which folder the backups land in.
SHARE WHEN YOU CHOOSE
Create a link to any file or folder. Anything you have shared is marked in your drive, so you always know what is reachable by others and can stop sharing at any time.
LOCK THE APP
Require your fingerprint or face before Hippius will open. Your recovery phrase is held in the device keystore and never leaves it in readable form.

Use Google, Apple or GitHub, or bring an existing account by entering your access key. The same account works across Hippius on mobile, desktop and the web.
OPEN, STANDARD CRYPTOGRAPHY
Hippius uses published standards, not invented ones: XChaCha20-Poly1305 for file contents, Argon2id for deriving keys, Ed25519 for signatures and BLAKE3 for hashing. Anyone can audit what protects your files.
