Ratings and reviews

There is a wonderful huge body of knowledge here but it really isn't very easy to navigate it. For example, I saw an Instagram post stating that antibiotics were "not the panacea we hoped they were with strep." Intriguing, and also a banner was there stating that the filter choices could now be found in the upper right hand corner. Great! But choosing "newest" does not change the list at all.

The content is excellent - but the app is really not where it should be especially for the cost. There are relatively basic features that other podcast/music apps such as Spotify or Podcast Addict have that are missing here. Specifically, I would love to be able to filter episodes by played and unplayed. Also, I'd like to be able to download episodes and then have the download auto-delete once played. Another would be more flexibility about creating a queue of content.

Edit. 2/2020 the new app does work very well and hasn't crashed since the update Original review (old version): It worked well at first, but just crashes now. Although even when it did work there didn't seem to be any way to turn it off. It was constantly running; even when stopped by advanced task killer it would just restart itself. Hopefully they fix the issues soon. In the meantime, it's back to beyond pod for me. Edit: reinstalling seems to have fixed the crashing issue.
