Content is phenomenal! However the app is incredibly unstable and constantly crashes. Also, it will delete downloaded content which is very frustrating. Great podcasts, great learning, terrible app
The app repeatedly crashes and is really totally useless for listening. I come back to the app 2 years later and it STILL doesn't work at all.
The content is fantastic and I love it when the app isn't crashing. It stops working constantly!
Crashes constantly. Deletes downloaded content.
Like all others -- content is phenomenal, but the app is awful. 1. The most annoying thing for me is that the app doesn't remember which chapters (or entire episodes) i've listened too, constantly marking chapters or entire episodes as "unread". 2. The app constantly crashes. Usually when you're scrolling to look for older chapters, but even randomly when just listening to a chapter, or even when not being used at all. 3. It's incredibly user unfriendly when it comes to looking for older chapters. You have to scroll, and the app needs to constantly download chapters as old as just 1-2 months. If you're looking for something older than 3 months, the app either won't download it, or just crash. It can't be too hard to have things separated by type (eg C3 vs EMA vs monthly installments) as well as by year (so you can just jump to entries from 2012, for example).
The app does not work. It shuts down every time that I attempt to download an episode. Should be embarrassing for such an amazing educational content site.
-Play notification no longer remains once playback finishes—unlike Odd Uncle Jimmy, who stuck around even after the Thanksgiving leftovers were put away.
-Play Chapter button re-enables once playback stops, now that we've given it a stern talking-to.
-The app no longer forgets your progress, unlike Granny, who forgot your kids' names at Thanksgiving dinner.
-Improved the media player under the hood. Like listening to your usual shows on a new radio, it sounds the same but feels much nicer.
