A full word match in about the time a kettle takes to boil.

Word King is built for short sessions: nine letters, a 30-second clock, and one simple rule - the shortest surviving word gets eliminated. Lobbies fill quickly with lively, humanlike opponents, so you are in a match within moments and out with a result a few rounds later.

Every session moves something forward. Crowns, streaks, weekly goals, achievements, and cosmetic unlocks stack up across even the quickest visits, and weekly leaderboards give each short run somewhere to land.

Got a little longer? The daily challenge adds one fresh board a day for a calmer, more deliberate solve.

What’s new

See when someone is waiting to play, plus streak and stability fixes.
- New: the home screen shows a pill when another player has a lobby open and is waiting for opponents, so you can jump straight into their game. On by default for the Daily Arena; turn it on for regular matches in Settings.
