HistoryAround is your AI travel guide to that history. Open the app, tap Scan, and the places around you reveal what they once were and who shaped them — each story written for the place itself, in the moment.

Most history apps hand you the same canned guidebook entries. HistoryAround uses AI to write a fresh story for the exact spot you're standing on — drawing on OpenStreetMap, Wikipedia and Wikidata, then composing it into something readable. A personal travel companion that works in your hometown as well as abroad.

Begin an exploration session and put your phone in your pocket. The app quietly notifies you as you pass somewhere worth knowing about. The search radius adapts to wherever you are — closer in dense cities, wider in the countryside. A walking tour that just runs in the background.

Drop a pin anywhere in the world and explore its history from where you sit. Useful for trip planning, idle curiosity, or learning a new neighborhood before you ever step into it. A virtual travel guide to any city, town or village.
SAVE AND ORGANIZE YOUR DISCOVERIES
Keep landmarks, stories and places in collections you can revisit and share. Build a personal atlas of where you've been and what you've found.
