First, the UI is fairly mediocre. Second, while there is unquestionably some good content and some great presenters, this channel is also full of a lot of total dross, bad presenters, and 10 minute "mini documentaries." If I wanted short history videos of deeply variable quality, I'd get them for free on YouTube and not pay for this app. Hopefully they improve but until then I'll be uninstalling and canceling my subscription at the end of my trial period.

Highly unstable app. I've done all the basic troubleshooting on my Galaxy S22. I've closed all apps running & it'll still usually crashes . I enjoy History Hit & paid for a yearly membership. However, if the app continues to have performance issues, I will not renew. It also lacks basic features, such as being able to mark something as listened & bookmarks to return a spot later. Bookmarks are helpful for long podcasts. Get it together and add these to your product backlog for the love of God!

The app itself is not bad, my frustration is with accessing subscription details. The app redirects you to a site, you log in to the site, then can't access subscription details-for that you have to email support. This is a time consuming, convoluted, and frustrating process. History Hit has some great content, the quantity of that content is a bit shallow for the full subscription imo. But it shouldn't be this difficult to access and change subscription info.
