Says compatible with Kindle Fire, but definitely is not, which really limits the way I was intending to use it..there is also no app for smart TVs. A lot of the content is just people sitting and talking about a subject, pretty boring. The app isn't great, and you can't view a full description unless you tap on the video, which then plays it, pretty annoying. Idk, I got it for 60 percent off for 6 months and I doubt I'll be renewing after that. Nowhere near as great as advertised.

Great content, but the app is painful to use. "Podcasts" are video streams that won't play through Android Auto. Finding next and previous episodes in a series can be difficult, especially for older series that are not being promoted. One "audio book" was a single, 14+hour video without chapters to find your place when it glitched and restarted. Can't set up a playlist/queue, can't subscribe to new episodes of favorite series. Just a big mess of videos all thrown together in a pile.

History hit TV as a service is good. It is as advertised a "Netflix" for those who love history. It is not sensationalized for tv. The app itself has some problems and doesn't always work. Neither the service nor app save your place in a show. If it had "continue watching" and "my list" features as other streaming services have I would give it 5 stars. The content is good! Good enough that I can over look the app's problems and use a browser. It works on my Amazon TV, PC, and Phone.
