Hive is a quiet habit streak tracker drawn as a honeycomb. Every habit is a comb you fill, one cell of honey a day. Keep it today and a cell is capped; the streak is the run of filled cells climbing across the comb. Miss a day and the run breaks — but the comb stays, every cell still there, ready to fill on whenever you come back.
THE HIVE (home)
The home screen is your hive. A honeycomb-strip summary at the top shows a hex for every habit — gold for the ones filled today, dark for the ones still open — with the day's count beside it. Below it, each habit is a card with a WIDE COMB STRIP across the top that fills cell by cell with the streak, and a row beneath it: the habit's name and last seven days on the left, and a hexagon "fill today's cell" button on the right.
THE COMB (per-habit detail)
Every habit has its own screen. A large honeycomb block sits in its frame, filling with the current streak, with the headline streak below and three figures beneath that — best streak ever, 30-day completion rate, and total cells filled. Then comes THE COMB calendar: a full month where every filled day is a hex cell in the comb's color and today is ringed in gold. Tap any past day to correct the comb.
THE APIARY (overview)
The apiary ranks all your combs by how full they have filled — the longest streaks first. Four figures sit above the ranking: your longest streak right now, your best ever, how many combs are still humming, and the total cells you have filled across the whole hive. A fourteen-day strip shows how steady the work has been.
THE FRAME (start new combs + settings)
The frame is where you start new combs and tend the ones you have. Name a habit, choose a cell color — Amber, Clover, Honey or Propolis — set a weekly aim, and start the comb. Existing habits can be renamed, recolored, re-aimed, reordered, or pulled in place. The same screen holds your preferences: haptic feedback, the dark hive-dusk palette, and whether the week starts on Monday.
Hive ships with four starter combs so the hive is never empty, and you can clear them and start your own at any time. Everything lives only on your device — there is no account, no cloud, no sync, no notifications, and nothing is ever sent anywhere. It does not gamify, nag, or guilt. It simply gives you a comb to fill, and a streak that grows by being kept.
