Driving across the harbor is most frustrating because you don't know which is faster or more expensive, the Cross-Harbour Tunnel or the Western Harbour Crossing; and going north, you don't know which border crossing has long queues. SmartDrive answers all your questions instantly: which route, how long, and how much—make a decision in 3 seconds, no need to search.

We don't offer global navigation (Google and Gaode do that well). SmartDrive specializes in "driving decisions" for Hong Kong drivers. Once you've chosen your route, it's all handed over to Google/Apple Maps for directions.

【Cross-Harbour Decisions】
• Real-time ranking of the three tunnels: Cross-Harbour Tunnel / Eastern Harbour Crossing / Western Harbour Crossing, sorted by the Transport Department's real-time travel times, showing you which is the fastest at a glance.

• Time-of-use pricing: Private cars, taxis, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles are charged separately; during peak hours, the Western Harbour Crossing and the Eastern Harbour Crossing have different tolls, which we've got you covered.

• Today's toll schedule: See the current toll, when it will drop, and whether the price will be reasonable after waiting another ten minutes.

【Northbound Crossing】

• Real-time waiting lists for eight land border crossings (Immigration Department data): Drive directly across (Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge / Shenzhen Bay / Lok Ma Chau / Heung Yuen Wai / Man Kam To / Sha Tau Kok), sorted by waiting order.

• Parking and transfer: Lo Wu / Futian have no roads; we'll help you plan where to park and take the train across the border.

• Northbound/Southbound direction switching; "Expected crowds" will be provided on public holidays.

【Road Conditions + Parking】

• Traffic map: Main road speed red, yellow, and green lights; real-time accidents/road closures; CCTV traffic snapshots; fixed speed camera locations; real-time government parking availability; choose from each layer yourself.

• Parking: Real-time availability and distance to nearby parking lots help you make your "last 500 meters before arrival" decision.
