HloPG is a hostel and PG management application that allows property owners and tenants to manage accommodation-related activities digitally. The app uses the READ_MEDIA_IMAGES permission to enable users to select and upload images from their device gallery when performing specific actions within the app.

Access to media files is strictly user-initiated and occurs only when a user actively chooses to upload an image. The app does not access, scan, or collect photos or videos in the background, nor does it access any media without explicit user interaction.

The permission is essential for the core functionality of the app, including property listing management, tenant onboarding, complaint reporting, payment confirmation, and account personalization. Without this permission, users would not be able to upload required images necessary for these primary features.

All media access is limited to selected files and is used solely for providing and improving hostel and PG management services within the app.
