S-Miles Installer is a mobile application developed by Hoymiles especially for installers of distributed PV power plants. It provides an EASY-TO-USE procedure for monitoring accounts and a visual physical layout guide for the installation of microinverters, which helps installers configure monitoring accounts rapidly, and provides installers power generation data on both plant-level & module-level as well as detailed alarm information about the power plant for commissioning & diagnostics.

It's horrible and unintuitive. The people who built this don't follow best-practices. Actually follow (!) the installation guide and have all of your serial numbers ready. You are going to have to enter them multiple times. Deleting plants is only possible through the web application and sometimes you need to kill the app to get edit functionality back. It is very rudimentary and in the end all it really does is display current production. This is a horrible piece of software.

The app doesn't know what is a day. The app works fine until I added a battery system to it. The battery provides electricity all day around. The app some how considers the energy generated in the previous days as from current day. The energy by each day and total energy generated are totally wrong now. Please fix this.

nice app, but the self consumption mode is misleading. The description for self consumption mode would lead you to believe that you will minimize grid power, the opposite is true. The first thing that happens is that it charges the battery to 90% using grid power then holds it at 90% by pulling grid power for everything. It is basically emergency backup with grid prioritization, not minimal grid at all.
