S-Miles Installer is a mobile application developed by Hoymiles especially for installers of distributed PV power plants. It provides an EASY-TO-USE procedure for monitoring accounts and a visual physical layout guide for the installation of microinverters, which helps installers configure monitoring accounts rapidly, and provides installers power generation data on both plant-level & module-level as well as detailed alarm information about the power plant for commissioning & diagnostics.

Ratings and reviews

It's horrible and unintuitive. The people who built this don't follow best-practices. Actually follow (!) the installation guide and have all of your serial numbers ready. You are going to have to enter them multiple times. Deleting plants is only possible through the web application and sometimes you need to kill the app to get edit functionality back. It is very rudimentary and in the end all it really does is display current production. This is a horrible piece of software.

the widgets don't update values, they just display whatever last value it was when using the app. The app needs more work and testing from actual users to be finished, which is not the case in the moment

The app can't handle komplex passwords, so I choosed a reaaally simple password in order to be able to log in. If you don't do that, the login will always fail. This isn't secure.
