Point your phone. Follow the arrow.
Pointer draws one big arrow and aims it at whatever you pick. Turn until the arrow straightens and locks on. When your target is below the horizon the arrow tilts down and points through the Earth, so you always know where it is, day or night.
Use it as a Moon finder, a planet finder for stargazing, an ISS tracker, or a car finder for where you parked.
THE SKY
Choose the Moon, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, or the International Space Station. Everything is worked out on your phone from your location and the time, so the sky keeps working with no signal. The space station is the one exception: its orbit is downloaded, cached, refreshed about twice a day while it is your target, and propagated on your device.
• A live direction and height readout, so you can check the arrow against a star chart
• The Moon's current phase on the target chip
• A reminder per target, so your phone can tell you when Saturn is high enough to see
• Nothing to set up: no account, no signup, no onboarding to tap through
YOUR PARKED CAR
Tap once to save where you parked. The arrow points back to it whenever you want, and tells you when you are standing on top of it. The spot is saved on your phone and nowhere else.
FRIENDS
Sign in with Apple, Google, or a code sent to your email. Then send a friend a link, or tap their name when the two of you are standing together, and you each get an arrow pointing at the other. A pointing session is a window you open on purpose: you decide when it starts, either of you can end it instantly, and it closes by itself. No map, no history: every location fix is deleted within 20 minutes.
Friends is not available yet in the EU, the EEA, the UK, Gibraltar, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man. The sky and your parked car work everywhere.
THE CAMERA, IF YOU WANT IT
Turn the camera view on and the arrow floats over the real sky in front of you. Off by default, and nothing is recorded.
PRIVACY
The sky and your parked car never leave your phone and never ask you to sign in. Friends is the only part that uses a server: your location goes to one friend, only during a session you both said yes to, and either of you can end it at any time. Your friends see the name you choose, never your email. No ads, no tracking, no analytics.
Raise your phone and find something.
