About this app

Hoist Workshop is the mobile companion to Hoist, the workshop management system for automotive workshops in New Zealand. Everything your team does at the front counter and in the bays, in your pocket.

A Hoist account is required. Your workshop administrator sets up your login.

WORK ORDERS AND JOBS
• See every job on the work board, from booked in to completed
• Add labour, parts and notes to jobs as you go
• Clock on and off jobs, and see what's next
• Create and update estimates

BOOKINGS
• View your bookings calendar and book new work
• Get notified when bookings change

VEHICLE INSPECTIONS
• Work through inspection checklists on the vehicle
• Take photos with your camera and attach them to the job
• Record readings and send the report to the customer

CUSTOMERS AND VEHICLES
• Look up customers and their vehicles by name or rego
• See vehicle history, WoF and CoF dates, and upcoming reminders
• Keep contact details and linked contacts up to date

MESSAGING
• Text and email customers, with job details filled in for you
• Reply to customer conversations from anywhere in the workshop

INVOICES AND PAYMENTS
• Review invoices and record payments and deposits
• See what a customer owes at a glance

PURCHASING AND STOCK
• Manage suppliers, bills and credit notes
• Scan supplier bills with your camera
• Check stock levels, adjust stock and run stocktakes

TIMESHEETS
• Clock in and out, and review your own timesheet

Changes sync live with Hoist on the web, so the whole team sees the same information at the same time.
