Ratings and reviews

Started out great, but RNG becomes awful the further you go. More heroes = more chances to draw the ones you don't need for that level. Pretty much have to have heroes at 1* if you want to progress to later game (usual loot box mechanism to do so), making it feel pay to win. Aggressive monetization everywhere, which isn't really out of the norm, but is exhausting.

spent real money for a month pass. after several hundred chests, I've gotten one star for two heroes, and then had one taken away from my yesterday because of some bugges event. Shouldn't have to play for two months to advance ONE star on a few heros. Stay away from this game unless you have hundreds of $$$ to spend. I'm not joking, the drop rates for heroes in this game is so Insanely low, that you'll play every day for a month and be lucky to get one or two.

Fun but very pay-to-win. All skills are tied to characters and, unless you buy them, you only get one copy. Having just one copy means you can't build your line before starting a round in PvE or PvP. This means you're at a distinct disadvantage in everything because you give up turns that could be boosts and instead have to choose your lineup from whatever RNG decides to give you. I'm all for some rogue like elements but this is just punishment for not spending enough to get the 30+ characters.
