Until I was able to kind of calibrate the app, it was very helpful in comparing one light to another and comparing outdoor sunlight and different situations to indoor sunlight that I could create with a lamp. after I did some calibration, it's excellent and really helps dial in different stages of plant growth depending on what you're after

I installed it to test my plant lights. To my surprise, the ones I had sucked, even though the looked bright to the eye, the levels were low. I was able to get much better lights. With this app, I'm able to properly determine how far from the different types of plants the lights need to be. My plants have thrived. I just started using a wakeup light. The first one I got did not test as high as it claimed. I was able to find one that does thanks to this app.

It's definitely useful, I can't say 100% how accurate it is but it's close. I use it to dial in intensity and height and it's made a difference. What you think looks right and what actually is can be a big difference so with this it takes a big amount of guesswork away and those extra saved days could be used at peak performance instead of making incremental changes and wait for results..
