About this app
DigiCard is a digital business card you share with an NFC tap, a QR code or a link — the
business card you already carry, on the phone that is already in your hand.
Show a QR code, tap another phone, or send a link. The person on the other side sees your card
straight away, whether or not they have DigiCard installed. No paper, no reprints when you change
jobs, and no app to install before someone can take your details.
WAYS TO HAND IT OVER
• QR code — a code big enough to scan across a table, generated on your phone in an instant.
• NFC tap — hold your phone against theirs. It also works with iPhones and with the badge readers
used at conferences, because DigiCard pretends to be an ordinary NFC tag rather than relying on
an Android-only handshake.
• NFC stickers — write your card onto a blank sticker and leave it on a desk, a laptop, a market
stall or the back of a real card.
• A link — send it in a message, put it in an email signature, or post it. It opens as a proper web
page with a contact file the other person can save.
• As an image — DigiCard draws your card as a picture and hands it to the share sheet, ready for a
story or a post.
A CARD THAT STAYS CURRENT
A paper card is out of date the day you change your title. A DigiCard is not. Everyone who has
taken your card reads the live version, so a new role, a new number or a new company reaches all of
them the moment you type it — with nothing to send and nobody to re-add.

Eight layouts — Minimal, Midnight, Gradient, Split, Monogram, Executive, Neon and Soft — across
eight colour palettes, previewed live as you type. Keep several cards on one account and choose
which one you are handing out: the work one at a conference, the side project at a market.
THE PEOPLE YOU MEET
• Cards you accept land in a contacts list you can actually use — call, email, or save to your
phone's address book in one tap.
• Add a private note to anyone. Where you met, what they need, what you promised to send. Only you
can ever see it — not even the person it is about.
• Message anyone whose card you hold, right inside the app, without asking for a number first.
SIGN IN HOWEVER YOU LIKE
Use your Google account, or an email address and a password. Both work the same once you are in,
and neither is required to be a work address.
BUILT TO BE HANDED TO STRANGERS
• No camera permission. Scanning runs through Google Play Services, so DigiCard receives the
decoded code and never has access to your camera.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking SDKs, no data sold.
• Your contacts list and your notes are private to you. Nobody can add themselves to your list —
a card has to be handed over, and that is enforced by the database, not just by the app.
• Delete your account and everything in it from Settings, in two taps.
• Free. Every feature above is in the app: no subscription, no card limit, no paywall.

Keyboard fixes.
The on-screen keyboard no longer covers what you are typing. The card editor, a contact's private note, the message box in a chat and the email sign-in form all now move clear of it, so the field you are in — and the button that saves it — stay visible.
