"Honmono Nihongo" is a Japanese Kanji learning app designed to help you read manga and anime in their original language.

It empowers you to read Kanji without furigana and helps you retain each character for a long time through the forgetting curve (interval repetition) review method.

- The 612 JLPT N5, N4, and N3 characters are organized into chapters of 5 based on frequency — starting with the Kanji that frequently appear in manga.

- Master each character by learning it through four categories: meaning, shape, reading, and example sentence (preventing superficial knowledge).

- Review before you forget using the forgetting curve-based "Today's Review" and continuous learning (Strik).

- Experience tangible growth through "Coverage: How much of the manga can you read right now."

- Listen and repeat along with voice actor audio for each example sentence, stroke order animations, and a Kanji encyclopedia.

- Level-skip test (Test Out) for advanced learners.

No registration is required. Learning records are saved only on your device.
