Used to love this game, but last few times I've played have been a bad experience. My ship would stop firing, or defending itself, or picking up mined materials. Then it would launch itself out of communication range, I'd use a core to restore, only to be launched right back out of communication range. I loved this game. Beautiful graphics, fun to play, but it also seems to not be going anywhere. No 2nd story mode. Wish they'd do more.

One of my favorite Android games ever. There is a real feeling of progression, and a ton of different ways to build your ship that make for different play styles. And with endless mode, you can keep getting stronger and still feel a difference. Honestly, you'll want to spend the $4 for ad free + double resources, but other than that the in app purchases are all "skip some grinding", and totally optional. No RNG, no timers. Just one "currency" that you can use to upgrade however you want. My only gripe is that it's not very mobile friendly in that you do have to devote some time to it. I wish it had a "save anywhere" option. Even if it's not a checkpoint in game, sometimes I need to do something else and don't want to lose my place.

I just finished this game. It took a few months of sporadic playing. Unfortunately, if it were not for buying nanocores, I would never have been able to "win". The final battle is broken down into three different battles. Just when you think you have the enemy ship beaten, a new cutscene, and then a new battles. I probably used a dozen or more nanocores to restore my ship after getting destroyed. There are some quirks with gameplay. There is a definite grind. I enjoyed it enough to keep playing.
