CDG is a good airport that is let down by it's very inefficient systems which has a knock on effect with the staff. The staff all seem to be good people but appear to have stopped caring about the airport users. I suspect this is due to process failures higher up the chain of command. The passport control areas behave as if there's no one waiting. People miss flights and luggage goes missing regularly. CDG has a bad reputation. Get CDG back to the flagship airport it should be! Vive le France.
