The UI could definitely be improved. The labels for the lines are too big, they can't be adjusted and you can't see the lines under to attribute other measurements. If you make an initial layout with the intention of attributing the measurements to the lines and wish to maintain the lines connected and the proportions, it does it in certain cases but not in others. Angled walls are out of the picture entirely, unless they are 90 degrees. I invite the developers to improve the app

****** ANYONE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE MEASURING TOOL READ THIS ****** This is not the right app for the HOTO measuring tool. Go back to the Play Store and search for the Xiaomi Home app, download it, and enjoy. Setup should be super easy from that point on. I had to dig around for hours trying to figure this out. This app should be removed from the store. Hope this helps.

-I had a lot of problems linking the hoto smart laser. Had to do it on a different device with the same account; -The floorplan drawing should have the option to be exported as a vectorial file (SVG, dwg, etc); -The text should scale with the drawings, otherwise they overlap and make small measurements unreadable. Right now I can't use this app for professional work and have to resort to pen and paper. If the app dev fixed these issues, I'd be very happy.
