I just wanted to mention to folks frustrated with the monthly fee. I too found the app handy initially but was frustrated to be charged $2-3 monthly when my use averaged less than $1 month. I DID receive notice that this was happening. In frustration I emailed the company. They were very helpful, told me how to disable the account and took note of the app's lack of user friendliness for the occasional user. They were hoping to address this at some point. When/ if that happens I would happily go back.
Not enough info on eeb site to understand thr system
This was formerly a handy app to have, it made life easier the odd time I had to park in downtown Charlottetown. To be able to park hassle free was worth paying a premium at the meter and a count down timer to keep track of time left was great. I've used it for a couple of years and would have given it a 5 star rating until I discovered they've been dinging my credit card $2.30 a month for subscription fees since they used up the money I had loaded to my account. I don't remember getting a notice that their policy had changed. If I was parking on a regular basis, it would be justified, but when you only need it a few times a year... Meh, I'll dig for coins.
Terrible business practice, received a subscription fee AFTER using it, no warning. Basically cost me 12 bucks to park for an hour cause it only loads in 10.00 increments. Cant delete quick enough...
Can not stop monthly charges! Not using the app for several months. Still charging my credit card. Can not remove my credit card, can not deactivate my account, profile not showing. Also previously the app was charging more than the parking meter rate in almost all locations. As you can see from other users, this charging is a problem. I consider this as a fraud. I had $10 in my account then they started charging my credit card monthly! Now I lost another $15 other than that $10. Removing account means losing your credit. WTF! Charged $25 for 6 months for doing nothing and not using the app!!!!
Good Idea, Poor Execution Monthly fees when not even using the app and not being able to log in half the time are killing the usefulness of this app. If I'm in a situation where I pay a monthly fee for use of an app I expect it to work all the time, especially for something as potentially time critical as parking. If I'm in a rush I don't have time to mess around with an app I can't even log in to just to process a payment. I've since deleted my account as a result.
