Update Mar. 14, 2022: Recently the app has been very disappointing. VERY often now when I tap on the title or summary of an article, it takes me to an entirely different article. This used to happen rarely, but now it's so frequent that the app is almost useless. So I'm changing the rating from 5 to 2 stars. Hope this is fixed soon.. Used to be good overall but I don't like the click bait advertising. I also wish there were headings for national and world news, as there is in the print edition.

The App is horrible. You have to have a digital access subscription to use it. However if you are in the App and click on a news link it automatically takes you out of the app to a chrome web version. Which even when you sign in it does not recognize your account and keeps blocking the articles. In fact it happens on every link to an article from any social media site instead of it opening in the App. Maybe it works better for Apple but on Android it is worthless. Have to do everything desktop.

I am having the same experience as alot of the other reviewers. Cannot stay logged in. I have a paid auto renewed digital subscription. Sometimes it works on various devices sometimes not. Love the Chron news however. If I open in Chrome to just go to the site and read the e edition half the time I can. When i can access i just download the pdf and save to Google drive so I can read it wherever. That's alot of work just to read the daily newspsper.
