About this game

BacanaPlay Hover Circuit races machines with no wheels, which means nothing you do has grip. Turn and the craft rotates before it changes direction; the drift is not a trick here, it is the only way anything corners.

Surfaces make that worse in interesting ways. Ice gives you almost nothing and rewards a turn started absurdly early. Sand drags at the skirt and kills your slide, so the line that worked last lap is wrong on this one. Neon track sections are fast and unforgiving, and the transitions between surfaces are where races are actually lost.

Boost and nitrous are separate for a reason. Boost is regular and small, best spent exiting a corner you took well. Nitrous is a large one-shot that will put you into a wall if you fire it at the wrong moment, which is most moments.

The garage buys craft, repaints them and tunes the turbines -- more thrust against more slide, a trade you set to taste. BacanaPlay championship, time trial and a pure drift mode all score differently, and the standings table tracks points throughout the season.

Settings switch between buttons and accelerometer steering.
