Hoverloaf is a cute original cat or dog that lives on your Android screen.
Adopt Mochi the loaf cat or Butter the cream puppy — both free. Feed and pet them for about 30 seconds a day. Then put them on your screen. They wander the edges, look at you when you tap, and stay after you leave the app.
This is not a climber. Your pet does not crawl over windows or grab the UI. Ghost mode can let taps pass through to the app below.
What they do
• Sit, walk, sleep, and look at you
• On the home screen, they may walk to an icon and poke the air above it. They never tap the icon.
• When another app notifies you, they look up. They never open the notification.
• Plug in to charge and they settle for a moment, then go back to wandering
Shop
Daily feed and pet are free. Extra snacks and extra pets cost points you buy in the shop. No ads on the overlay. No subscriptions.
Permissions
Hoverloaf asks for Display over other apps so your pet can stay after you leave the app. Accessibility (optional) only reads where home icons and a notification peek sit — it never taps. Notification access (optional) only lets the pet look up when another app pings — it never opens the notification. Turn any of these off in Android Settings.
