Ratings and reviews

All of the preset scenes are very fast and spastic. There is no DIY option as shown in the images. There is no way to control speed as shown in the images. There is no way to select colors unless you want a solid color and no movement. The Christmas scenes use more colors than included on Christmas lights so you can't match to other lighting sets.

The app itself and the lights are pretty good. There're a lot of options and it wasn't too difficult for me to figure out. However, my only issue is with the music sync option, which is one of the primary reasons we got the lights. You have to have the app open, unlocked, and... you have to let the app use your mic. Like what? If you talk, the lights light up. If your phone screen turns off, your music sync stops. You have to adjust your phone settings to prevent locking. Not a good design.

It's a good app but it could be better. The group section of the app just doesn't want to work at all sometimes and I have to individually turn each set of lights on and off which is time consuming. The other issue is if my phone battery is 20% or lower I can't do anything with the lights at all. Aside from those two things it's a good app.
