Upgraded now can't log on at all I've an HTC mini one2 on EE. android v4.4.2, HTC sense v6.0. Upgraded HSBC app as requested to do by 6th Sept 2016. Now won't let me access app, tells me to check my internet connection, even though I can access the web as I'm on HSBC's web page on internet explorer on my phone. When I press ok on the app's msg pop up box, to check my internet connection, the app asks what country I'm in. I scroll to United kingdom it's already checked with a tick so I press it again n get same check internet connection msg
Getting worse. Terrible Well just when I thought it couldn't get any worse. It has. Now I can't even log on and if it does, it takes minutes to even get past the splash screen and onto to log on screen. Is it beyond one of largest banks in the world to come up with an app that works. I suggest you sack the app developers and sort it. Terrible service from a bank that's getting worse. I'm running the galaxy s7 edge if you are at all interested and bothered. Well I don't see the point of telling you this as you ignore reviews
Worst mobile app This app is useless. Have to type 2 different passwords so that it can tell me that I had been logged off so that I can type the same 2 passwords again!... After that you can do a transfer if you also have a stupid additional key... I tell you the frustration grows and grows... Pretty sure I'll be changing banks very soon
Worst bank app ever! Have to resort to using the website which allows you to log on fine. The app keeps saying there is a problem with internet banking. No there isn't. There's a problem with the app! Come on HSBC, get your act together. This is the straw to break the camels back. No one at HSBC seems to care about the customer anymore. After banking with Midland Bank originally in UK, then HSBC who bought them out and then HSBC here (in total 38 years of my custom and 24 years working for you) I'm now off to Westpac.
the digital security key code really a stupid invention!! It gives me so much trouble, now it disappeared completely from my HSBC App! I can't do any on-line banking now, because each time it asks me to enter the digital security code, which I'm not even given an option to generate!!! so frustrating!!!
Dreadful Most of the time I cannot log into the app after the endless error messages I receive. Mobile payment apps are meant to make life easier on the move. This is just a pain, actually considering changing banks because I need access to my account on the go regularly. Sort it out.
