You take on the role of a new employee in a pharmaceutical company researching the deadly outbreak caused by an unknown pathogen. Use your puzzle skills to master computational tools in a bioinformatics program called VIRIDAE (Viral Identification and Analysis Engine). Analyze the genome of the pathogen with your pipeline to determine its origin and identify the genetic variation that made it so deadly. Each tool you master will help you ‘filter’ genomic information to find answers in the data.
