About this app

Progress is a progress photo journal for changes you want to see over time: fitness and body transformation, a beard growing, a plant, a room renovation, a pet or a creative project.

LINE UP EACH PHOTO
See your first or latest photo as a transparent ghost over the camera. Adjust its strength, use an outline, grid or center guide, then take the next photo. Front and back cameras and a self-timer are available. Alignment is manual: Progress helps you match the frame.

COMPARE BEFORE AND AFTER
Choose any two photos. Drag the divider, put them side by side or fade between them. Change a photo's date and save a comparison image with its day or week labels. The saved image shows each whole photo, nothing cut off.

MAKE A TIMELAPSE
Turn your series into a video. Choose speed, transition, portrait, square or wide format, and day labels. Fill the frame, or fit the whole photo on a background color you pick. Supported devices export MP4; other devices may export WebM. Everything is created on your device.

YOUR FILES, YOUR CHOICE
No account, no ads and no app cloud. Photos stay inside Progress until you choose to share or export them. Make a ZIP backup in Settings and save it somewhere you trust. The ZIP is not encrypted. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes its local photos, so keep your own backup.

FREE AND PREMIUM
Free includes the ghost camera, comparisons, photo import, backup, reminders and up to two active projects. Free timelapse uses up to ten photos, the first five and last five for longer series, in 720p with a watermark.

Progress Premium adds unlimited active projects, every photo in timelapse, 1080p video and exports without a watermark. It also adds an app lock with your fingerprint or screen lock, a slider video of your comparison, lining up a photo by hand, a monthly summary and a backup reminder.

Premium is optional. Weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions are offered. Current prices and any introductory offer are shown by Google Play before purchase; availability can vary. An introductory price, when offered, moves to the regular price unless cancelled before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Manage or cancel in Google Play > Subscriptions. Uninstalling Progress does not cancel a subscription.

Progress records photos. It does not measure your body, track your weight or provide medical or fitness advice.
