About this app

Your photo, woven from thousands of threads.

Stringora turns any photo into a string art portrait and records the whole thing as a video: a wooden table, a round board, brass nails, a spool of black thread, and one thread after another until your face appears. Download it, share it, and watch people ask "how?"

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a photo: a portrait, your pet, a couple shot.
2. Choose nails (200, 300 or 400), thread (fine, medium or bold) and density.
3. Watch the threads weave your picture in seconds.
4. Export a vertical video, ready to share.

WHY IT LOOKS REAL
• Every thread is calculated, not faked. Stringora finds the path of one continuous thread, nail by nail, that recreates your photo.
• Faces come first. The app finds faces in your photo and gives eyes, nose and mouth extra detail.
• True thread thickness. Threads are drawn at real thickness on a 40 cm board, so the result looks like real thread art.
• A handcrafted desk scene: wooden table, plywood board, brass nails, a spool and a polaroid of your original photo for the before and after.
• Satisfying sound: a soft click as each thread wraps a nail.

MADE FOR SHARING
• Vertical 9:16 video, about 30 seconds.
• Before and after ending with your original photo.
• A live counter shows how many threads it took.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your photos never leave your phone. All calculation and video rendering happen on your device. No account needed.
