Forty questions. Five axes. One of twelve cards is yours.

Trait Deck asks you forty plain statements — "I finish what I start, even after the excitement wears off", "Small things can change the colour of my whole day" — and you say how much each one sounds like you. About six minutes, nothing timed.

Your answers land on five axes: Curiosity, Structure, Energy, Warmth and Sensitivity. The two that run highest decide which of the twelve cards comes out.

Every card has six layers written for it, not for everyone:
• Who you are
• Your strength and your blind spot
• Up close — how you are in a close relationship
• At work — what you are like on a team
• Under pressure — what you actually do when it gets hard
• Who you run well with, and who wears you out

COMPARE TWO PEOPLE
Pass the phone. The second person answers the same forty questions, and you get one number plus the reason for it: every axis, both scores, where you overlap and where you will rub. Nothing is guessed and nothing is random — the comparison is arithmetic on the two sets of answers, and the app shows you the arithmetic.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS
This is entertainment and self-awareness. It is not a psychological test, not a diagnosis and not advice. We do not tell you that you are in the rarest 3% of humanity, because we have no data that could support it. What we report is your own answers: how far they sit from the middle of each scale, and how well your answers agreed with each other — half the questions are worded the other way round, so we can check.

The trait model, the twelve archetypes and every word of the readings are ours. Trait Deck is not based on and not affiliated with any other personality framework.
