Randopitons is the official application of the Randopitons website.
⚠ ATTENTION! The application cannot be installed on certain phones (the most recent) and can sometimes close automatically when opened due to bugs. For various personal reasons, I haven't found the time to update the app yet. This update will require a complete rewrite of the application, around a hundred hours. Be patient, and in the meantime you can use the website directly for the affected people. Thank you for your understanding :)

The application in a few words:
⛰️ 600+ hiking trails on Reunion Island.
⛰️ Application almost entirely available without Internet.
⛰️ Added comments with photos.
⛰️ Interactive map available
⛰️ Automatic detection of hikes near you.
⛰️ View your favorite hikes.
⛰️ Track your completed hikes.
⛰️ And much more!
The application is intended to complement and not replace the Randopitons site. To make the most of the content offered by Jean Paul Goursaud, the author of Randopitons, I advise you to use the website first. The website contains a wealth of information for those wanting to discover a little more about this island with its thousand and one hikes.
I would like to thank GO Sport, without whom this application would never have been possible in 2019.
June 2021 update details:
⛰️ Maps/Traces
- Openstreetmap maps and offline tracks.
- Arrows to indicate the direction of a loop.
- GPS accuracy displayed on the map.
⛰️ Search
- Interactive map when searching
- Improved keyword search with built-in suggestions.
- Ability to save a search.
- Ability to see hikes from a search on a map.
- Redesign of filters during searches.
- New filter: "Sub-region".
- New filter: "Particularity".
- New filter: "Near you".
⛰️ Near you
- Calculation of hikes near you is done directly on the phone.
- Option to increase the search distance (1km, 5km or 15km).
- New sorting mode: "by distance from your position".
⛰️ Homepage
- Viewing history for the last 10 hikes viewed.
- The last hike viewed is accessible on the home page.
⛰️ Hiking
- Improvement of the summary
- Added points of interest as on the website.
⛰️ Comments
- Option to “Like” a comment like on the website
⛰️ Achievements
- Complete redesign of the section
- New sorting mode: "by completed date".
- Option to give your general appreciation.
- Option to give the level of difficulty of the hike according to you.
⛰️ Favorites
- New sorting mode: "by date added to favorites".
⛰️ Profile
- New section: Member profile
- Changing your profile photo
⛰️ Miscellaneous
- The application update is no longer automatic on startup.
- Added a "Read more" button for blocks of text that are too long.
- Various bugs fixed.
