For ride-related operations, the app supports trip acceptance, pickup progress, trip start, trip completion, and customer-facing tracking updates connected to active work.

The app includes tools for reviewing trip history and earnings. Drivers can check completed trips, view ride or delivery records, review payment details, inspect earning summaries, and access wallet-related information where supported by the platform configuration. These tools help drivers monitor activity and keep track of completed work over time.

Metro Driver also includes account and support features. Drivers can manage personal details, update profile information, review vehicle data, check notifications, access help or support sections, and communicate through available platform support channels. This helps drivers maintain account accuracy and stay informed about platform activity.

Location access is used to support ride and delivery operations, including pickup and drop-off handling, navigation-related trip updates, and live trip tracking while a driver is online or handling an active request. Background location may be used so the app can continue updating trip-related location information when the app is minimized during active work.

The app may also support additional platform features depending on the service configuration, such as scheduled trips, multi-stop trips, document workflows, referral tools, incentives, ratings, and service-type based driver options.
