It provides for safe distribution of FREE food and meals in a simple, sleek, and streamlined platform. The platform helps users (individuals, restaurants, cafeterias, sporting arenas, etc.) Find Food. Ditch Waste. Create Community!

For example, a restaurant can elect to be a Certified Hungree Provider, easily listing their excess food items, as they play their part in helping to address food security issues that affect our global population. As an individual, you can join/list meals to a Hungree "village" (a group of private individuals) like your housing community or your friends and family.

The HungreeApp allows you choose your mode as a provider (offering food) or a hungree (receiving food). You can switch between these roles right on the same app. Also, the platform helps you keep track of your donations and efforts to contribute towards ...

1. Browse meal listings in your area. Feel free to filter public/private villages or choose Certified Hungree Providers only!
2. After your request is accepted, receive a location and collect your meal after entering your pickup code.
3. It's that simple.

1. Describe and list your meal in just a few steps (Hungrees do NOT get your location until you accept their request).
2. Provide a pickup code when your approved Hungree arrives at your location.

when there's food available it's awesome however very little availability

this could be a good app I don't know if it's just because of my location but you'd think Longmont Colorado would have plenty of participating stores but there's not sometimes there's a pickup in Boulder for breakfast crossainta things like that but there's just not enough options or stores to be worth keeping downloaded
