Perfect app. It doesn't do anything except display a white screen. Other apps have messed it up trying to get fancy. I use it to measure the stabilizer in my pool, where it provides the backlight necessary to measure the turbidity of the water once a reagent is added. Sometimes I also use it to study tiny insects and other objects where a backlight helps. Just perfect.

there was a update that lets you adjust the brightness by swiping. this has completely changed how I use the app. I paint on clear plastic sheets and overlay that plastic on top of my phone so I can get a good line of sight. now that it's no longer just a "white screen" it changes its brightness whenever I use my markers. this ruins the app for me. completely.

I've used this app for years and it does exactly what I need when a flashlight is too bright. I have it on my home screen and it's easy to just tap it and close it when you're done. Thank you for changing the way it adjusts back. New features are great but I would like the option to enable the features. I know that might be tricky since the app is just a blank white screen.
