For Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa functionality, pair your device in SIMPLEconnect® app first.

Google Assistant process: To use your fan with Google Assistant, first, add your device(s) in the SIMPLEconnect® app, then activate Google Assistant.

Amazon Alexa process: To use your fan with Alexa, first, add your device(s) in the SIMPLEconnect® app. Once your fan(s) are added to your SIMPLEconnect® account, activate the Amazon Alexa skill "Hunter – SIMPLEconnect® Smart Ceiling Fan" and enter your SIMPLEconnect® credentials to link your fan to Alexa control.

Ratings and reviews

Terrible experience resetting the fan and reconnecting it to a new wifi network. Followed steps exactly from Hunter's website on how to reset the fan and wifi. The latest version of the app would not connect the fan to my 2.4ghz wifi network after giving it my wifi password and sending it to the fan. I had to resort to downloading and installing an old version of the app from the year 2021 on my phone. Setup and connecting the fan to my wifi took a couple tries, but finally got it connected.

1. Randomly stopped working. 2. Tried resetting the app but now can't log back in. Tried resetting password multiple times but the "successfully updated password" never works. Now I'm locked out. 3. Even when working, glitchy and slow. I really wish I returned this when I saw signs of poor design of the fan itself. Was lazy and wanted to avoid having to take it out and get a new one. Just looking at it is aggravating now. Never buying a hunter fan again.

The connectivity of this app is so frustrating. Can be a headache to setup with the 2.4 vs 5.0 limitations but works great once you finally get configured. Then seems to randomly reset every few months. I've had this fan for 4 years and have had to fully start over the connection config over a dozen times... Terrible.
