For Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa functionality, pair your device in SIMPLEconnect® app first.

Google Assistant process: To use your fan with Google Assistant, first, add your device(s) in the SIMPLEconnect® app, then activate Google Assistant.

Amazon Alexa process: To use your fan with Alexa, first, add your device(s) in the SIMPLEconnect® app. Once your fan(s) are added to your SIMPLEconnect® account, activate the Amazon Alexa skill "Hunter – SIMPLEconnect® Smart Ceiling Fan" and enter your SIMPLEconnect® credentials to link your fan to Alexa control.

Been using the app for years. It was never great, but now it's just broken. 1. The app won't connect with Google Home anymore. Trying to reset the connection gives "Could not reach Simple Connect. Please try again." 2. Going to device information on the fan leads to an infinite spinner 3. When I try to submit a help ticket, the submit button can never be enabled. There is no error shown in the form.

Thought it was going to be ok. I was wrong. I bought 3 new 50449 smart fans. Got all 3 installed and all work well with the remote. Then comes smart home setup. First one took 3 tries but finally connected and should up in the app. Now when it gets to registration of 2 and 3 crashes the app and is just gone. Also who makes you turn off mobile data to do an IOT install? I believe these are the worst smart devices I have ever tried to use. The one that works is also delayed 5 to 10 seconds

The app and wifi integration were written by a child doing a school project. They admitted their wifi module is trash and sent me 4 to upgrade all my fans. the response is better but the servers are still terrible. massive delays, the app won't login half the time, just says "login error". The lights will turn off after huge lag then turn itself back on. the remote barely even works after 5 years and brand new batteries. Just beeps and nothing happens. How can you be this bad?
