One of the reasons I bought Powerview blinds was for home security. Closing blinds automatically when I'm not home is key. Unfortunately Powerview is just not reliable enough for that purpose. If you are OK with intermittent failures then go ahead and buy this product. If you want something that just works all of the time, this is not it.
If you learn from the installer how to deal with minor "refresh" and "calibrate" issues, there is no comparison: these blinds and this app are second to none. We love them and it's great to know when we are away, the blinds tell the crooks we are still at home. No cheap but well worth the price!
can you code in to sort rooms alphabetically or some kind of logical sorting? Also sort automatically under each day. It's ridiculous there is no way to sort anything ... its so disorganized for those who have more shades/settings etc
Update: tried to reset the hub and run setup again. No remote or blinds detected anymore. Hub basically stopped working. Original post: App manages to control the drapes 1 in 5 times. IFTTT integration works also 1 in 10 times and when it does it takes 20 seconds to react. I payed a lot of money for this systems, it is regretful that the software is so bad. I really do not advise buying. Extremely expensive with low quality, unstable technology
When the setup is complete, it's a nice app to use. Just don t try and set it up during Christmas season rush, it could be a challenge . Lol
Great product. Interface says with the Hunter Douglas Blinds very well
