Control your home's window coverings from the convenience of your Android phone or tablet. The PowerView® App provides intelligent operation of popular Hunter Douglas window coverings. Adjust your window coverings to manage incoming light and energy usage throughout your home with the tap of a button or through automated operation. The PowerView® App merges seamlessly with your connected lifestyle, providing a level of convenience and ease that is the crowning touch for your Hunter Douglas window coverings.

• Control Hunter Douglas motorized window coverings, individually or in groups, throughout your entire home.

• Quickly and easily navigate the app using built-in tabs: Dashboard, Rooms, Scenes, and Schedules.

• Add favorite Scenes, Shades, and Schedules to your Dashboard, so they appear first whenever you open the app.

• Create customized shade position settings called "Scenes" for convenience, or to manage your natural lighting and privacy needs throughout the day.

• Put your Scenes in motion using Schedules. Easily program your Scenes to activate automatically at different times of day to deliver the look and comfort you want, without you having to press a button. Configure Schedules to occur at a specific time, or based on unique Sunrise and Sunset times in your specific location. Enabling location services for PowerView may be required to use this feature.

• Easily enable or disable Schedules, so that your blinds take the day off when you do.

• Manage your Home from anywhere with RemoteConnect™. This requires a PowerView® Gateway, an Internet connection, and initial in-home setup.

Used to work ok, but last software update broke something and keeps saying that "hub is updating and to try again in a few minutes". Have restarted my phone twice, but still unable to connect to hub with the app. The hub still seems to be following the schedule, but I have no access to make changes or control the blinds.

App offers lots of grouping, position, and scheduling options. I had to change the "owner" (i.e., admin) from installer's account to my own, which was tricky. Unfortunately, app only works when phone is within Bluetooth range of blinds; for off-site / remote control over the Internet, you have to purchase a separate "gateway" device. It seems like this gateway functionality could be integrated into a smart home hub that supports BLE, but I've seen no indication Hunter Douglas plans to do this.

Thank you for your feedback. The architecture of the PowerView system does require a PowerView Gateway for off-site control. There are additional benefits of adding a Gateway to your system as well, beyond off-site control. The app does what I need. But takes 3 minutes to connect to the blinds rendering it fairly useless. At first it only gives me the option to remote connect. It thinks I am not in my house. After about 3 minutes it will finally work. Nearly zero options are available if you are not local. The blinds constantly quit working and need to be calibrated as well. On top of that, 1/3 of the time commands don't work and I need to manually go to the blind.
