The Huru Free2 app is primarily a Menstrual Health Learning App for in-school girls. It is aimed at low-income locations and low to medium literacy levels. The app also has content relevant to boys in similar age groups as the girls for general awareness purposes.

The main items on the app include:
• Lessons and Activities.
• Track My Period.
• Health Resources (e.g local health care services).
• Ask a Question.
• My Stuff (summaries such as lesson stud progress).

Data will be collected and stored as users make their way through the app. This data collection is integrated with Huru's systems so that the data can be analyzed and used for reporting and app improvements. The app is designed to collect the following information:
• User progress through the app (e.g scores on pre-lesson tests)
• Knowledge-gain and attitude changes
• Most-used features and time spent in particular sections of the app
• User feedback.
