Turn every screen on into a Korean lesson. Lockademy will show you a Korean word every time you turn on your phone — read, tap, swipe. There are no apps to open, no time to set up: the moments you already spend unlocking your phone will turn into dozens of micro-lessons a day.

The sole purpose of this app is to help you learn Korean on your lock screen. Everything else — word finder, stats, quizzes, and settings — exists solely to customize and control your learning experience on that lock screen.

HOW IT WORKS
• Turn on your screen — a Korean word card appears
• Tap to reveal meanings, example sentences, synonyms, and antonyms
• Mark "I know this" or "Show me again" — smart repetition will handle the rest
• Want to know more? Tap to explore the word in Google search — subtle differences, cultural context, and related phrases
• Unlock as usual. The card never blocks your PIN, fingerprint, or fingerprint

CAN’T READ HANGUL? START HERE
Can’t read Korean? The built-in 한글 lesson teaches you the alphabet: step-by-step mnemonics for each consonant, syllable formation (ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ = 한), the final consonant (한), and the actual pronunciation rules — 합니다 is pronounced “hamnida” and the card shows you why. When you first open the app, just select “I can’t read Hangul yet” and get started right away.

SMART REPETITION THAT NEVER FORGET
Leitner’s spaced repetition brings you back to the word just before you forget it: 1 hour → 1 day → 3 days → 7 days → 30 days. The words you know will be far away, and the words you miss will come back sooner. Your consistent success and statistics will keep you motivated.

TEST MODE
Turn the card to Test and choose the correct meaning from four options. Then, you will get answer information, hints, and statistics on the accuracy of the test you passed. In the 한글 lesson, the test focuses on practicing letters: assembling syllables from parts and matching each letter with its sound.

20,000 TOPIK WORDS
The vocabulary is selected from the National Institute of Korean Language’s student word list and the open TOPIK guide, covering all levels (TOPIK 1–6) from beginner to advanced. Each word is provided with romanization, word type, natural example sentences, and synonyms/antonyms. View the full word list, search, and favorite words for later reference.

CUSTOMIZE
• Vocabulary level: Hangul basics, beginner, intermediate, or all
• Show frequency: every time the screen turns on, every hour, every 3 hours
• Adjust the daily new word repetition limit — it will never stop your learning even if you reach the limit
• Silent time — no cards at night
• Alarm safe: cards will not appear when or before your alarm goes off
• Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to hide the card and use system gestures like Samsung Wallet
• Two daily reminders that are automatically skipped if you have already learned
• Options to change the card font size, romanization, and always show the meaning

Everything works 100% offline. No registration, no sign-in required, and your learning data never leaves your phone.
