The exclusive purpose of this app is to learn Korean on your lock screen. Everything else — word browser, stats, quizzes, and settings — exists solely to configure and track the learning experience on that lock screen.

• Want to know more? Tap Ask AI to explore the word in Google AI Mode — nuances, cultural context, and related expressions (regular Google search where AI Mode isn't available)
• Unlock as usual. The card never blocks your PIN, pattern, or fingerprint

NOT GOOD AT READING HANGUL? START FROM ZERO
Can't read Korean yet? The built-in 한글 course teaches the alphabet itself: every vowel and consonant with mnemonics, step-by-step syllable construction (ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ = 한), final batchim, and real pronunciation rules — 한국어 is pronounced "hamnida", and the cards show you why. Select "I can't read Hangul yet" when you first open the app and it starts right from there.

SMART REVIEW THAT NEVER FORGET
Leitner's spaced repetition brings back every word right before you forget it: 1 hour → 1 day → 3 days → 7 days → 30 days. Words you know move back; words you get wrong come back earlier. Your progression and statistics stay motivating.

QUIZ MODE
Flip the card to Quiz and choose the correct meaning from four options. Instant feedback, hints, and quiz accuracy statistics to help you master. In the 한글 course, quizzes train letters: arrange syllables from their parts and match each letter to its sound.

20,000 TOPIK WORDS
Vocabulary curated from the National Institute of Korean Language student word lists and public TOPIK guidelines, covering every level from beginner to advanced (TOPIK 1–6). Each word is accompanied by romanization, word types, natural example sentences, and synonyms/antonyms. Browse the full word list, search, and bookmark words for revisiting.
