Turn every time you turn on your screen into a Korean lesson. Lockademy shows a Korean word every time you turn on your phone — read, remember, swipe. No apps to open, no time to set aside: the moments you already spend unlocking your phone become dozens of micro-lessons a day.

The sole purpose of this app is to learn Korean on your lock screen. Everything else — the word browser, statistics, quiz, and settings — exists only to adjust and track this lock screen learning experience.

HOW IT WORKS
• Turn on the screen — a card with a Korean word appears
• Tap to reveal the meaning, example sentence, synonyms, and antonyms
• Check "I know this" or "Show again" — intelligent repetition takes care of the rest
• Want to know more? Tap Ask AI to explore the word in Google AI Mode — nuances, cultural context, and related expressions (normal Google search where AI Mode is not available)
• Unlock as usual. The card never blocks your PIN, pattern, or fingerprint.

NEVER READ HANGUL? START FROM SCRATCH
Still can't read Korean? The built-in 한글 course teaches the alphabet itself: each vowel and consonant with mnemonic, step-by-step syllable construction (ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ = 한), batchim endings, and the real pronunciation rules — 합니다 is pronounced "hamnida," and the flashcards show why. Choose "I still can't read Hangul" the first time you open the app, and it starts right there.

SMART REVIEW THAT NEVER FORGETS
Leitner's spaced repetition brings each word back well before you forget it: 1 hour → 1 day → 3 days → 7 days → 30 days. Words you master recede; words you get wrong come back sooner. Your progress and statistics keep you motivated.

QUIZ MODE
Flip the card over for the Quiz and choose the correct meaning from four options. Instant feedback, hints, and a quiz success statistic to help you improve. In the Korean course, the quiz trains letters: assemble syllables from the parts and associate each letter with its sound.

20,000 TOPIK WORDS
Vocabulary selected from the National Institute of Korean Language's student word list and TOPIK public guidelines, covering all levels from beginner to advanced (TOPIK 1–6). Each word comes with romanization, grammatical class, a natural example sentence, and synonyms/antonyms. Browse the complete word list, search, and favorite words to revisit.
