• Tap to see the meaning, example sentence, synonyms, and antonyms
• Mark it as "I know this" or "Show it again" — the smart repeat handles the rest
• Curious to know more? Tap Ask AI to Google the word — discover the nuances of meaning, cultural context, and related expressions
• Unlock as usual. The card will never block your PIN, pattern, or fingerprint.

CAN'T READ HANGUL? START FROM SCRATCH
Don't know how to read Korean yet? The 한글 course within the app teaches the alphabet itself: each vowel and consonant with a hint, step-by-step syllable formation (ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ = 한), batchim (final consonants), and the actual pronunciation rules — 합니다 is pronounced "hamnida," the cards show you why. When you first open the app, select "I can't read Hangul yet," and you'll start right there.

SMART REPETITION THAT NEVER FORGETS
The Leitner spaced repetition method brings each word back to you just when you're about to forget it: 1 hour → 1 day → 3 days → 7 days → 30 days. Words you know are brought back; those you're unsure of return sooner. Your series and progress statistics keep your motivation alive.

EXAM MODE
Turn the card into Exam mode and choose the correct meaning from four options. Instant feedback, hints, and an exam hit statistic to try and beat. Practice quiz letters in the Korean course: combine syllables from their parts and match each letter with its sound.

20,000 TOPIK WORDS
Words are compiled from the National Korean Language Institute student vocabulary list and publicly available TOPIK guides; covering all levels from beginner to advanced (TOPIK 1–6). Each word comes with its romanization, word type, a natural example sentence, and synonyms/antonyms. Browse the entire vocabulary list, search, and add words to favorites to return to them later.
