It's the worst app ever. The instructions are extremely vague and not at all helpful. It wants you to have outside lights close to the router, which is not is not possible for most. Additionally, the light set does NOT appear it the list of devices to connect to. Simply horrible app. I would rate the app at a 0, but one is the lowest available. Terrible, simply terrible!!!

The app has no way to contact tech support or even a help section. Wow. After getting a new phone, the info i originally entered into the app didn't transfer over and trying to get it to function again over was impossible. And, as I wrote above: no customer support, no help section, or any way to contact anyone. Pretty unbelievable. I will update this review even if it's totally user error, to keep you posted.

I'll give it 3 stars simply because I like the lights and I finally got em connected through Google but I had to jump through hoops. You can't connect HVS app to Google because it's not on the app list. Instead, you have to connect the lights through the HVS then also through the Smart Life app. Then once they're connected in there, you can now sync that Smart Life to Google Home and control them. What a pain in the butt. Good luck to the average user. 🤦‍♂️
